Connect Dexi to Smithery

MCP server · https://mcp.dexi.net/mcp

Smithery is a registry and toolbox for MCP servers: one account that browses, tries, and connects tools, then exposes them to any agent that speaks to Smithery. Dexi is listed there as Dexi Notes, so you can inspect its twelve tools and connect without touching a config file.

The connection is the same OAuth flow as everywhere else — Smithery never sees your Dexi password, and access is revocable from Dexi’s Settings → Connected apps.

Listing: Dexi Notes on Smithery

What you need

  1. A free Smithery account.
  2. A Dexi account — free at app.dexi.net.

Setup

From the listing

  1. Open Dexi Notes on Smithery (link below) — the listing shows every tool with its read/write behavior.
  2. Click Add to toolbox (or Try now to test in the playground first).
  3. When prompted to authorize, approve on Dexi’s consent page — you can scope the connection to a single folder or tag there.

Try it

Dexi’s tools are now in your Smithery toolbox for any connected agent. In the playground, try: “What have I saved about pricing experiments?”

Troubleshooting

The authorization window closed without connecting

The OAuth prompt times out after a few minutes. Retry the connect from the listing page and complete the approval promptly.

Disconnecting

In the Dexi app, open Settings → Connected apps to see every app connected to your account and disconnect any of them instantly. Revoking access there signs Smitheryout of your notes no matter what’s configured on the client side.

Frequently asked questions

Is this different from connecting a client directly?

Functionally no — Smithery talks to the same server at mcp.dexi.net with the same per-user OAuth. It adds a browsable listing, a try-it playground, and one place to manage many tools.

What access does Smithery get?

Exactly what you approve on Dexi’s consent page, under your account. Restrict it to one folder or tag at consent time, and disconnect any time from Settings → Connected apps.

Other clients
