See your knowledge as a graph
Every tag, mention and wiki link builds a private knowledge graph you can explore in 2D or 3D — and traverse to surface connections you didn’t know you’d made.
As you tag notes and link ideas, Dexi quietly builds a map: notes, tags, mentions and bookmarks as nodes, every co-occurrence and link as an edge. The graph view renders that map — in 2D for orientation, in 3D when you want to fly through it.
The related-concepts traversal takes it further: pick any concept and Dexi walks the graph outward, showing which ideas cluster together and which single note bridges two otherwise separate territories of your thinking.
Why it matters
Lists show you what you were looking for; graphs show you what you weren’t. Clusters reveal your true centers of gravity — which themes actually dominate your reading and writing, as opposed to the ones you think do. Sparse regions show where a research area is thin. Bridge nodes often turn out to be the interesting ideas: the note that connects two clusters is frequently the seed of original work.
It’s also the fastest honest overview of a body of work. A glance at the graph tells you more about six months of research than scrolling a chronological list ever will.

You’ve spent a year saving notes and articles about developer tools and, separately, about healthcare IT. They’ve always felt like unrelated interests.
- You open the graph view. Two dense clusters appear — #devtools and #healthtech — exactly as expected.
- But one node sits between them: a note on “FHIR APIs”, connected to both clusters through a bookmarked article and two of your own notes about developer experience in regulated industries.
- You run the related-concepts traversal from that node and watch it pull in #compliance, @a16z’s piece you saved last spring, and a feed article on health-data startups.
- You didn’t plan a thesis about developer platforms for healthcare data. The graph shows you’ve been building one for months.
