Digests on your schedule

Get a recurring email digest of notes matching the tags you choose — a built-in review habit for you, or a curated briefing for anyone else.

A digest is a standing order: “every Friday at 8am, email me everything new under #reading-list”. You pick the tags, the schedule and the recipient, and Dexi assembles and sends the email — in your timezone, without you thinking about it.

Digests work for any tag and any cadence, and you can run several at once: a Monday digest of #team-updates, a weekly #inspiration roundup, a monthly review of #ideas.

Why it matters

Capture without review is hoarding. The digest closes the loop: material you saved during the week comes back to you at a moment you chose for reading rather than collecting. It’s spaced repetition for your own research, run by the system instead of your willpower.

Pointed at someone else, a digest becomes effortless publishing. Tag as you save, and a curated briefing goes out on schedule — no newsletter tooling, no “weekly roundup” doc to remember to write.

Who gets the most out of it

Example: A chief of staff’s Friday briefing

Your CEO wants a weekly pulse on the market but has no time to gather it. You set up a digest: tag #ceo-brief, every Friday, 7am, to their inbox.

  1. Through the week you work normally — reading feeds, saving bookmarks, taking meeting notes. Anything briefing-worthy gets the extra tag #ceo-brief as you save it. Total added effort: seconds per item.
  2. A competitor’s funding announcement from Tuesday, a regulatory note from your RSS feeds, and your summary of a key customer call all pick up the tag.
  3. Friday 7am, the digest lands in the CEO’s inbox: this week’s tagged items, titles and summaries, formatted and linked.
  4. The briefing that used to eat your Thursday evening now assembles itself from work you were already doing.
